Using 21st CCLC funding, Catholic Social Services OST Programs have partnered with the Pennsylvania Statewide Youth Afterschool Youth Development Network (PSAYDN) to pilot a citywide initiative to implement Fantasy Baseball in Philadelphia afterschool programs. Fantasy Baseball offers an opportunity for students (gr. 4-12) to learn statistical math through analyzing baseball statistics. These after school sessions allow for application of math concepts learned within the school day.
